We Create Signature Architectural Features
Pandemic Design Studio designs products, installations, and environments that bring together art, nature, history, and architecture. Our work spans modular biophilic ceramic systems, custom lighting, adaptive reuse consulting, and large-scale architectural features for hospitality, commercial, residential, and public projects.
Pandemic Design Studio is best known for creating modular biophilic architectural systems that transform walls, public spaces, hospitality environments, and residential projects into experiential moments.
When integrating The Node Collection or The Grove Collection into large-scale private or public installations, our work explores how repeated elements can come together to form larger environments that blur the line between product, architecture, and art.
We collaborate with architects, developers, and design teams to create signature elements that give projects a unique identity.
Our work ranges from monumental lighting installations and biophilic walls to reclaimed industrial artifacts, sculptural objects, and custom architectural features.
We design and fabricate custom lighting for hospitality, commercial, residential, and adaptive reuse projects.
Whether developing a monumental chandelier or a site-specific lighting installation, our goal is to create lighting that becomes part of the identity of a space.
For more than a decade, David Rozek has studied, collected, restored, and sourced historic American industrial lighting.
We help architects and developers identify, procure, and restore lighting appropriate to adaptive reuse and historic redevelopment projects. Through an extensive network of collectors, dealers, and salvage specialists, we are able to source project-scale quantities that would otherwise be difficult to assemble.
Most firms specialize in a single discipline.
We do not.
Pandemic Design Studio combines product design, custom fabrication, biophilic design, public art, lighting design, historic industrial expertise, and adaptive reuse consulting into a single creative practice.
This unique combination allows us to approach projects from multiple perspectives simultaneously. A lighting installation can become public art. A planter system can become architecture. A reclaimed industrial artifact can become the defining feature of a redevelopment project.
Clients come to us when they are looking for something original—something that does not yet exist—and need a partner capable of transforming ambitious ideas into reality.
From patented ceramic collections and large-scale plant walls to adaptive reuse developments and signature lighting installations, we create work with lasting character, authenticity, and impact.
A recurring theme throughout Pandemic Design Studio's work is the transformation of individual elements into larger systems, environments, and experiences. Whether working with ceramic modules, living walls, public art installations, custom lighting, or historic industrial fixtures, our projects explore how repeated components can come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
